The gameplay of Guitar Hero gameplay is similar to other music games , where the player must press the buttons on the controller at the time the musical notes moving on the screen to complete the game música.A is based on the basic mechanics of the game Konami GuitarFreaks.No case of guitar Hero , the player can either use the guitar peripheral ( a copy scale 3/4 Gibson SG guitar that comes bundled with the game , or a third-party version ) as the standard controller to play notes displaced . The guitar peripheral has five colored fret buttons that are close to the lash of the neck of the guitar, strumming and a bar for a lever of distortion on the guitar body . The peripheral also possesses other buttons in order to navigate the game menus . The music is displayed on the screen through a series of notes, and color matching in position with the buttons frets , moving down the scale. To reach or play a note , the player must hold down the button corresponding fret the note shown on the screen and the strum bar on the body of the guitar at the same time when the note passes through an area marked on the screen . Rapid series of notes can be played on the guitar control techniques using hammer -on and pull- off where the player does not need to strum each note . The game supports an alternation in the handedness of the guitar, allowing both righties as lefties can use the guitar control . A player using the standard controller simply must press the buttons corresponding to the notes displayed as described in the game manual .

The player earns points by hitting correctly notes , chords and supports . The player can also increase a multiplier of points to play consecutive series of notes successfully . A " Rock Meter " measures the performance of the player based on the success or failure of notes correct , and if the meter falls too low the music will end prematurely in failure for the player. The player can also achieve " Star Power " by playing a series of notes perfectly bright star-shaped lever and using distortion during Supports . Once the Star Power Meter is at least half , Star Power can then be activated with a brief tilt the guitar vertically or by pressing a specific button on the standard controller . The activation of Star Power will double the score multiplier and facilitate the growth of the Rock Meter to play notes correctly. With this, the player can strategically use the Power Star to play the most difficult sections of a song that they would fail otherwise .

Guitar Hero II is a music rhythm game developed by Harmonix, published by Activision and distributed by RedOctane. It is the second installment in the Guitar Hero series and is the sequel to Guitar Hero. It was first released for the PlayStation 2 in November 2006 and then for the Xbox 360 in April 2007, with additional content not originally in the PlayStation 2 version.
                   


Gameplay


Gameplay is based on the successful formula created for the first Guitar Hero game; the player may use the guitar peripheral to play scrolling notes by holding the corresponding fret button on the guitar neck and simultaneously pressing the strum bar. Alternatively, one can play with the DualShock 2 or Xbox 360 controller by using four shoulder buttons and a face button, mapped to specific fret keys.
Several changes have been made to the gameplay mechanics for Guitar Hero II: hammer-on and pull-off functionality has been improved, and three note chords have been introduced, scored as triple points if played correctly. There are additional statistics available for a song upon completion, and the scores achieved in either Quick Play or Career mode are saved to the same in-game high-score list. The handedness of the guitar can now be toggled from the Pause menu when playing a song (previously, this was only available from the game's main menu). For the Xbox 360 version, scores can also be compared with other players through Xbox Live via the Leaderboard feature, and there are 50 Achievements that can be earned in the game.

Career mode

In Career mode, players create a band name and select a guitarist from among the available characters. Eight characters, each representing a unique genre of rock music - are available from the start of the game: Eddie Knox, Axel Steel, Casey Lynch, Lars Ümlaüt, Izzy Sparks, Judy Nails, Johnny Napalm, and Pandora.[30] Additional characters — Clive Winston, Xavier Stone and the Grim Ripper — can also be purchased, allowing them to be used in later sessions.
Only the lead guitar is available to be played in the Career mode. Over the course of the Career mode the band plays at eight available venues. The venue system from the original game has been altered slightly and has the band traveling geographically from town to town in order to play at the next arena. The venues are Nilbog High School, The Rat Cellar Pub, The Blackout Bar, The RedOctane Club, the Rock City Theater, the Vans Warped Tour, Harmonix Arena and Stonehenge.
Not all songs in the main setlist are available from the s.  The venues feature lighting and pyrotechnics that are synchronized with the music.[tartOnce a song is unlocked for play within Career Mode, it becomes available for play in all other modes. When working through Career Mode at a specific difficulty level, the next tier of songs is unlocked once the required number of songs on the current tier (3-5, depending on difficulty and console) are completed. Additionally, the encore song for a particular tier is only made available once its requirements are completed. On the Easy difficulty setting, there are no encores available, but the next tier will be unlocked immediately after completing the required songs in the previous tier.

Successful completion of a song on Medium or higher difficulty during Career mode will earn the player in-game cash. Higher difficulty levels and better scoring performances are rewarded with more cash. In-game money can be used at The Store to buy various items. Some items are available only after completing all songs at higher difficulty levels or 5-star performances. Within The Store, the player can purchase new Gibson guitars, guitar finishes, three additional characters, alternate outfits for the eight characters available from the start, bonus songs, and videos. For unknown reasons, the bonus videos are absent from the PAL version of the game. Within the Xbox 360 version, there is also an option to access the Guitar Hero II content on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Guitar Hero III : Legends of Rock features 73 songs in the game media , includes 39 songs from the single-player mode , three songs of " Boss Battles " , six songs exclusive Co-op mode and 25 bonus songs . The versions for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 offer the player new songs that can be downloaded to the game . On September 12, 2008 , there were 59 songs available for download for both platforms , bringing the number of songs for such selectable versions to 132 . Four songs that can be downloaded were available for a limited time . The versions for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 have a song unique to each .

Guitar Hero III : Legends of Rock received generally positive reviews , although it has gotten smaller note than its predecessors on review aggregator Metacritic . The Gibson Les Paul control included with the game , won praise in particular. GameSpy , in a review of the four console versions , favorable review gave the new controllers , and called the Wii guitar "the best guitar peripheral that they had seen " , praising the vibration option .
Several reviews criticized the changes made in Guitar Hero III : Legends of Rock compared to previous games in the Guitar Hero series . A review of IGN ( the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 ) considered the game a " very safe effort " from Neversoft , doing little to change the game due to be his first time working on the series . They also criticized the lack of customizable characters 16 Review IGN Wii version described the game's presentation and art direction as " forced " , and as a result , less visually appealing than anteriores.19 20 GameDaily questioned the " white boy soundtrack " and would like to have seen more tracks from legends like Jimi Hendrix and Prince . " GameSpy criticized some of the difficulty settings of the game . they stated that" Medium simply feels like Hard -minus - the - orange button " , and that the Star Power phrases were too long , comparing the overall game to a trial by fire , in contrast to previous games in the series. they also criticized the approach used to the controls of the PlayStation 3 , and failures in online support for PlayStation version 3:15 GameSpot criticized the game for its " heavy dose of in-game advertising . " GameSpy stated that the PlayStation 2 version received a " short end " because of a lack of online play . Official Xbox Magazine also criticized the game to be " very competitive " , which was not a facet not readily found in the previous games . A version for PC version was criticized for its high system requirements , the lag and slowness problems even in top of the line systems .

The Game

Guitar Hero is a series that was successful. The game tries to simulate real way the guitar chords. In Guitar Hero World Tour, it has been expanded, and we can use the battery and microphone. Now it takes the microphone, the Guitar Control, and Battery Kit Game to play with each of their instruments.
It was confirmed that the game "may not" be played with the DualShock 2, which can only be used to navigate menus. However, a bug was detected in game programming, where you can play with the DualShock 2. The moment the game ask the device, remove the control by pressing the R2 button and putting it back below the player would overcome this gap, taking advantage of the bug.

Battery Guitar Hero World Tour .
Guitar Hero World Tour will be based on the actual gameplay of the previous Guitar Hero . The Star Power , a feature that has emerged throughout the Guitar Hero series is returning . The traditional single player , Carrer Mode has been redefined . Instead of playing through a setlist , players will encounter during the career mode , offering a choice of songs to play , being , however , do not have to complete all the songs in the list to proceed . The difficulty levels include a new difficulty called " Beginner" as well as the regular difficulty modes (Easy , Medium , Hard and Expert ) , the Career Mode will allow players to a drop lower difficulty without restarting their careers if they have difficulty with a song . The player will also be able to switch to a different instrument during the same career without having to restart . There are five modes full instrument career within the game : guitar , bass, drums , voice, and online / offline full band .
Another thing is that the expert level there is a new note . Before the notes were Green, Red , Yellow, Blue and Orange . Now have the Rose , which has only in a few songs . It is a trait that is underneath the colors as the pedal battery and 'll be available for Guitar and Bass.

Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock (initially referred to as Guitar Hero 6 or Guitar Hero VI) is a music game and the sixth main series Guitar Hero. It was released on September 24th (UK) and September 28th (North America), 2010 for PS3, Wii and Xbox 360. Due to some significant sales of music games in 2009, Activision, publisher of the Guitar Hero series, dissolved RedOctane and Neversoft's Guitar Hero division. Even so, this was the last game of the Guitar Hero series produced by Neversoft.
